Ari Kagan is a Guest of Honor of the Spectacular Ballroom Show
Ari Kagan, Community Liaison for New York City Comptroller Scott M. Stringer. Ari Kagan was born in the city of Minsk (currently Belarus) in 1967. In 1988 graduated from Journalism Department of Lvov military college. Kagan graduated in 1999 from Baruch College (Business Administration). Worked as a reporter in many local Russian-language publications. Currently is a Senior Editor and Marketing Director of Vecherniy New York weekly newspaper. Also is a host of the popular weekly TV show “Here In America” on Russian Television Network of America. He also works as a host of a daily Davidzon radio morning show “City News”. From 2008 to 2010 Kagan worked as a Community Liaison for the United States Congressman Michael McMahon. From February 2011 till March 2013, Ari worked as a Community Coordinator for New York City Comptroller John Liu.

Oleg Kolomiyets is an opera singer from New York. He was born in Kiev. Oleg started singing in the GregoryVerevka Choir at age 16. Mr.Kolomiyets was a soloist at the Kiev Opera from 1995 to 1997. As an artist of many talents, he participated in the “Big Difference” (БольшаяРазница), a popular parody program on channel one of the Russian Broadcasting Station. OlegKolomiyets also writes and publishes scripts and poems.

Lyudmila Fesenko is an opera singer from New York. Lyudmila is a solo singer whose performances are accompanied by symphony or balalaika orchestra.Fesenko performs for schools, colleges, universities, and performing art centers with her program, “Songs from the period of Ivan The Terrible to Mikhail Gorbachev.” She also performs classical opera repertoire and traditional music for corporate events and private clients. Sergei Pobedinski is a Russian singer from New York. Sergei was born inPyatigorsk, Southern Russia. He graduated from the MoscowGnesin’s Academy of Music. Mr.Pobedinski has performed widely in the United States of America, Russia, Finland, and France. He has given many shows of Gypsy and Russian music in St. Petersburg and has performed in many Russian cabarets in New York City. In addition to being blessed with an outstanding tenor voice, he captures the raw passion and feeling of this musical genre. Sergei performed in such diverse venues as the Chamber Jewish Musical Theater in Moscow, the Krasnoyarsk Musical Theater in Siberia, the Karelia State Musical Theater and the Music and Comedy Theater in St. Petersburg. After touring Finland, France and USA as a member of the Classic Retro Trio, Sergei lives and works in New York. SergeiPobedinski’s Duo with New York based Russian opera singer LyudmilaFesenko will be an interesting combination of opera repertoire and traditional music.

Victoria Ulanovskaya, a pianist – concertmaster, emigrated to America from St. Petersburg. She graduated from the St. Petersburg Conservatory, worked at Lenkontsert with many famous singers, accompanying them in large concert programs. Victoria worked as an accompanist with many famous theater actors: Alisa Freundlich, Oleg Basilashvili, Evgeny Lebedev, Igor Vladimirov. Toured many cities of Russia, as well as in Finland, Sweden, Germany. In New York, Victoria has performed in many famous concert halls: Madison Square Garden, Carnegie Hall, City Hall, Borough Hall, Merkin Hall,Town Hall. With the “singing” policeman Daniel Rodriguez, a disciple of the famous Plachito Domingo, Victoria participated in concerts of the famous TV presenter Regis Philbin in Atlantic City. They were invited to the all-American TV shows: “Good morning America”, “NBC Today Show”, “ABC News”, “The Oprah Show”, “Regis and Kelly”. Victoria has toured America with Broadway performers. Victoria Ulanovskaya also works with baritone Vladimir Lokshin, former soloist with numerous Russian opera houses, and with gorgeous tenor David Gvinianidze. She worked as accompanist at the “Festival of Russian Opera” in Paris, with singers of the Bolshoi Theatre of Russia. Victoria pays a lot of time to her children’s musical “Little Theatre”, which on June 28 at the Broadway Theatre stage «Symphony space» shows their next musical “The Color of your dreams.” Victoria is not only the founder and leader of “The Little Theatre”, but also the co-author along with a composer Andrey Ivanov and choreographer Alexander Rudym, of the theater’s musicals, that opened it’s eighth season.
